Terms & Conditions
Kurhaus Dhonau GmbH
Felkestraße 100
55566 Bad Sobernheim
Dear Guest, We will do everything we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Part of that is ensuring you know exactly what services we provide, what we are responsible for, and what your obligations are towards us. Please take note of the following terms and conditions, which govern the contractual relationship between you and us and which you accept upon making your booking.
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Kurhaus Dhonau GmbH, Felkestraße 100 | 55566 Bad Sobernheim | Tel. +49 (6751) 9198-0 | info@bollants.de | www.bollants.de to consumers (Section 13 BGB).
2. Contractual Partner
All contracts are concluded with Kurhaus Dhonau GmbH, Felkestraße 100 | 55566 Bad Sobernheim | Tel. +49 (6751) 9198-0 | info@bollants.de | www.bollants.de. For questions, complaints, and concerns, you can reach us on weekdays (Mon – Fri) from 9:00 to 17:00 by telephone on +49 (6751) 9198-0 or by email at info@bollants.de.
3. Conclusion of Contract
The contract is concluded once the room(s) have been ordered and confirmed, or, where confirmation is no longer possible due to time constraints, once the room(s) have been made available. Where multiple persons place the booking, they are jointly and severally liable for all obligations arising from this contract. Group and tour organisers must provide the exact list of participants no later than three weeks before arrival. Changes to the number of rooms of plus or minus 10% are possible free of charge up to four weeks before arrival.
4. Arrival and Departure
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, check-in is not available before 15:00 on the day of arrival (for our Heimat Lodges, not before 16:00), and check-out must take place by 11:00 on the day of departure. Guests intending to depart after 11:00 are asked to notify reception by 22:00 on the evening before departure.
For extended spa access on the day of departure until 19:00, we charge a supplement of just €15 per person.
For departures by 18:00, half the room rate applies; after 18:00, the full room rate is charged. Reserved rooms must be occupied by 18:00 at the latest. If this does not occur, the hotel may allocate the room to another guest, unless a later arrival time has been agreed in writing.
5. Services and Prices
The contractual services are set out in the reservation confirmation. All agreed prices are inclusive prices. Any increase in VAT after conclusion of the contract shall be borne by the guest. Where more than four months elapse between booking and arrival, the hotel reserves the right to adjust prices without prior notice. All prices are quoted in euros.
The hotel may provide the guest with suitable alternative accommodation where this is reasonable for the guest, particularly where the deviation is minor and objectively justified. Objective justification exists, for example, where the room(s) have become unusable, existing guests extend their stay, or other important operational measures necessitate the change.
The guest has no entitlement to compensation for services ordered but not used.
Treatments are invoiced privately and charged at the hotel's rates, which may differ from those of health insurance providers or other subsidy providers.
6. Payment
An advance payment of 90% of the booked stay is required (at the time of booking for non-refundable rates, and up to 14 days before arrival for all other rates). For cancellations within 13 days of arrival, the guest will be charged 90% of the total stay.
If this advance payment is not received in the hotel's account within two weeks of the request, the hotel is entitled to withdraw from the contract. Notice of withdrawal must be given without delay. Unless otherwise agreed in writing between the parties, payment is to be made in cash, no later than upon departure. Where payment by invoice has been agreed, the invoice must be settled within 10 days of the invoice date.
The hotel is not obliged to accept cashless payment methods such as cheques, credit cards, or vouchers.
7. Cancellation
a) If you would like to book a stay with us in the coming months, you may do so with free cancellation up to 8 days before arrival via our reservations department or our online booking portal. After that, we charge a cancellation fee of 90% of the booked services. You may also rebook free of charge up to 8 days before arrival.
We recommend the Bollants travel protection at €5.00 per person per night, which can only be taken out at the time of booking (excluding Christmas and New Year).
b) Non-refundable early-booking rates must, unless otherwise agreed, be prepaid and are no longer subject to free cancellation once the booking has been confirmed. In the event of cancellation or no-show, the hotel charges a cancellation fee of 100% of the contractually agreed total price. Redemption of bonus points and vouchers is not possible with non-refundable early-booking rates.
c) For group reservations of 5 or more participants, the following cancellation and amendment deadlines apply: up to six weeks before arrival, cancellation is free of charge. If cancellation is made later than six weeks before arrival, or if the number of participants decreases by more than 10% from the agreed figure, the booker shall pay 90% of the agreed price for the shortfall in participants.
7.1 Restaurant Reservation and Cancellation Policy
Please note our reservation conditions and no-show fee in the event of non-attendance or failure to cancel. If your plans change, please notify us in writing at least 24 hours before the reservation at Hermannshof@bollants.de. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Please understand that for late or missing cancellations, we charge a cancellation fee of €100.00 per person for our Restaurant Jungborn.
Please understand that for late or missing cancellations, we charge a cancellation fee of €30.00 per person for our Restaurant Hermannshof.
By cancelling in good time, you help us maintain our quality.
8. Liability
The hotel's contractual partner or the guest, whether as a guest or as a host, shall be fully liable to the hotel for any damage caused by themselves or their guests. Any use of the rooms that deviates from the contract entitles the hotel to terminate the contract without notice. This does not diminish the entitlement to the agreed fee.
The hotel reserves the right to withdraw from the contract if performance becomes impossible due to force majeure or industrial action, without giving rise to any claims for damages. The hotel's liability for items brought onto the premises is governed by the provisions of the BGB (German Civil Code). Liability is excluded if the room or the receptacles from which items were stolen were left unlocked.
Liability for valuables is accepted only if they are deposited at reception against a receipt. Cash must likewise be deposited at reception against a receipt.
Important: Liability for high-value clothing or valuables can only be accepted if staff are informed of the special value when the items are deposited.
9. Vouchers / Voucher Purchase
9.1 Offer and Conclusion of Contract
The display of services/products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather an invitation to place an order. By clicking the "Order with obligation to pay" button in the final step of the ordering process, you submit a binding order for the services/products contained in the shopping basket.
9.2 Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason, provided that the service agreed in the contract has not yet been performed or partially performed. The withdrawal period is fourteen days, beginning on the day the contract is concluded.

10. Final Provisions
In commercial transactions, the place of performance and jurisdiction shall be the registered office of the hotel. Oral agreements become effective only upon written confirmation by the hotel.
